Asian blind man... no, doesn't ring any bells. Is he giving you problems?

No. He's someone you should look for, for tips and information. Inside Mercy he was passing on information to patients about weaknesses that could help someone plot out a more successful escape. He's very perceptive and observant, and good at blending in to avoid notice. I doubt he wants to join... but his insight could benefit your crew.

I didn't catch a name. But if you find him, say the guy who refused pain meds sent you his way.

He looked a little scared, not gonna lie. And he should have, because as much as I love him, I was definitely about to throw his ass into orbit.

Oh, don't worry. I'm sure you're gonna get plenty of chances to see it, 'cause Kaiba is who he is. Believe me, we don't have to be roommates for that -- he's gonna fuck up and go flying. Maybe he won't come and harass you at ass o'clock in the morning for a while now, though.

[ Or maybe he will. Because, as she stated a second ago -- Kaiba is who he is. ]

I'm usually awake at that time. He'd just be obnoxious. [He gives a dismissive wave.] He pulls that shit on me, he's getting it right back at him but worse.

Wow, that's impressive. So you were already awake? [ To this, she laughs, looking ridiculously amused. ] I really want to see that happen, because you know that'd be some meme worthy content! Also, I'd love to see how he reacts to that.

[Not "already" awake. "Still" awake. It was how he actually spent two months not knowing who Peggy, their roommate, was. Their schedules were just so misaligned that he basically went to bed right before she got up and somehow they kept being passing ships in the night.]

Ah, makes sense. Before I moved to Japan, I lived in the States. My friends and I used to have that sorta schedule too.

[ That seems like it was so long ago now, though. Five years at least... six? Hard to believe she won't ever see her overseas buddies ever again. ]
