Character Background: Wiki page.
Character Personality: Trigger Warning: Mentions of suicide and sexual harassment/assault of a minor mentioned
Ann Takamaki can be described as someone who is bubbly and bright, full of kindness and compassion for those around her. Though she was a lonely girl for many years due to being shunned for her looks, one would not be able to tell that this was ever even a thing she had to deal with. Despite her prior isolation and loneliness, she's pushed past all of that due to the friendship she's forged with her best friend, Shiho Suzui. It is due to that friendship that Ann learned to ignore the opinion of others, and to also not be so quick to listen to rumors about anyone else. Other than Shiho, she lived a fairly lonely existence: her parents did not live in Japan. Being fashion designers, they traveled the world, and were rarely home.

This being said, Ann is also fiercely loyal to those who she is able to befriend. She even goes so far as to agree to see and potentially "go out" with Suguru Kamoshida, her school's gym teacher/volleyball coach, in order to make sure that Shiho remained the starter on their school's volleyball team. This leads to nasty rumors that she is dating and "getting it on" with the teacher, rumors that he does not confirm or deny.

At the beginning of the story, because of this, she doesn't seem like she's a very strong person. She briefly allows Kamoshida to walk all over her, telling herself it's all for Shiho's sake, but this changes after she meets the Protagonist. A good judge of character, Ann is able to see right through the rumors swirling around the Protag -- before they even really talk, she confronts both he and Ryuji Sakamoto, warning them to stay out of Kamoshida's way. The trio aren't friends yet, but even then she was concerned that they'd get themselves kicked out of school because of their reputations and the rumors swirling about them.

After finally being caught red handed on the phone in an argument with Kamoshida by the Protag, he gets her to confess about the harassment from Kamoshida. It is here that she is finally seen breaking and wearing her heart on her sleeve. She even admits to him that she didn't believe the rumors about him, that instead she believed him to be very similar to her: a lonely person just trying to find their place in the world.

Ann also leads a double life -- while she is a student and part time model by day, she is a Phantom Thief by night. After awakening her Persona, Carmen, she became the third member of the Phantom Thieves, giving herself the code name Panther. As Panther, Ann is energetic and lively, and very confident and more sure of herself than she is in the real world. This is partly due to the fact that Carmen is an extension of her true self -- full of passion and life. Carmen was awakened due to finally snapping after Kamoshida admitted that Shiho "took her place", so to speak, after Ann rejected his advances. It finally sparked the will of rebellion within her, which in turn allowed Carmen to come out and forge a contract with her.

After the Kamoshida incident was done and over with, Ann had a change of heart of her own. To never stand by idly and watch while someone, herself included, was being abused or hurt. She has a strong desire to help those in need, never wanting to go back to the way she once was.

While somewhat withdrawn, Ann is able to open up to those closest to her, though she will not go out of her way to talk about her problems unless pressed. She is happiest to focus on someone else's problems before her own, another way she is similar to the Protagonist. She's also not afraid to pipe up if something displeases her, and she tends to be very passionate about things. If you choose to woo her in the game, during one scene, she will blurt out 'I love you' to the Protagonist, and then quickly follow that up loudly by declaring she meant what she said, and she wasn't going to take it back. In this regard, she could be described as extremely determined when it comes down to it.

Her confidence in the Metaverse does not always transfer back into the real world. Though she is confident in some things, she does tend to get a little flustered when overwhelmed, which can cause her to freeze up. During the school festival, if you choose to hang out with her, she'll be called up on stage against her will and asked a bunch of questions, eventually needing to be bailed out because she can't spit out an answer. It is also well known among her small circle of friends that she is a terrible actress.

Character Abilities: Ann has the power of Persona. However, this can only be activated/achieved in the Metaverse/Mementos. Therefore, until further notice, it is null and void within Tabula Rasa. However, for future reference, I'll go ahead and list off some of her Persona's abilities.

Persona: Carmen. She is weak to Ice.

Agi: Light Fire damage and inflict Burn (low odds) to 1 foe.

Dia: Slightly restore HP of 1 ally.

Agilao: Medium Fire damage and inflict Burn (low odds) to 1 foe.

Lullaby: Inflict Sleep (med odds) to all foes.

Fire Boost: Strengthen Fire attacks by 25%.

Please note: ANY AND ALL of these abilities would be VASTLY modified to fit the games setting, should Personas ever become a thing. Carmen's abilities would definitely be taken down as much as the mods wanted.

Items:

•A pink whip

•Shujin school bag, filled with various homework assignments and books, and a small makeup bag with a few bottles of nail polish.

•Cell phone (with Metaverse Navigator app) and charger, rendered useless naturally.

Winter Outfit (Changes to Phantom Thief: Panther when seen as a threat/calling upon her Persona.)

Other: N/A.

Imprint

Imprint Type: Scenery/location: Shibuya Underground Mall.

Summary: An underground mall full of stores full of various goods like clothing, accessories, and food stands.

Full Details: Exactly as it reads: an underground mall. The shops inside are small, and many of them include clothing, shoes, and jewelry, though there do seem to be some makeup shops, cd's and movie shops, and a flower shop, too. There are also food stands for things like drinks and sweets. Mostly, I think the clothing and shoes shops are the most important, because it would give characters a place to get a new wardrobe and things that they need. The underground mall expands into the subway station and the underground walkway as well, and there's a portion of it that seems to go even further but it is inaccessible as an iron fence blocks that portion off from any sort of entrance. There are also a few photo booths scattered around, but those are probably unable to be used in the game setting, should they also arrive within the mall.
